Yesterday kicked off the 20th year of Lincoln's own Jazz in June. Our family has been attending for 5+ years and our numbers have definitely grown to include most of the family as well as family friends. We are still occupying the same spot at Jazz in June underneath the big ginko tree. The weather was hot yesterday (100 degrees) but by 7 pm there was a nice breeze and it had cooled down some. Dominic took part in the kids scavenger hunt at and around the Sheldon Art Gallery and when he turned in all the answers he received a bag, sticker, and a coloring book. There was an amazing jazz band playing and for dinner we had build your own vegetarian tacos. For dessert we had mixed fruit and a few of us went downtown to Ivanna Cone for some ice cream after the concert.
